Winter Camp 2005

West Gallatin River

We camped on the East Gallatin river.  This has been the driest winter on record for a long time. The seventh year running of drought.  Temperature in the 30's and 40's.  Can't believe it.  Brought in a new pilgrim. Camped with another.   Had a impromptu shooting match. Broke 2 ram rods.  Had to pull 3. Mike and Beaverboy put out traps.  Caught a muskrat.  Walt won the traveling trophy. overall a good camp.
