1. transfer the pattern to paper, cut out and then transfer the pattern to leather. could do in cloth as well.

2. dye all parts before sewing together.

3. use leather or contact cement and fold over lower pocket and attach upper pocket.

4. saddle stitch pockets in place following stitch lines.

5. stitch closing  tie on flap.

Flint wallet is designed from an original dated about 1790. The center pocket held flint leathers. If carrying Musket flints modify for larger size.
